Information about ROMA STREET PARKLAND

Roma Street Parkland is home to a range of unique Australian subtropical vegetation as well as beautiful examples of flora from around the world. The Parkland’s individual precincts show a seasonal array of diverse horticultural displays which keep the Parkland’s landscape vibrant and colourful all year around.

As well as eye catching flora, the Parkland has an array of birds, lizards and fish which have made Roma Street Parkland home.

How to get to ROMA STREET PARKLAND

Roma Street entrance – driving towards the City on Roma Street, past the Transit Centre and Holiday Inn, turn left, drive through the roundabout and proceed to the end of the tunnel and up the ramp.

This brings you onto Parkland Boulevard where parking is available.

Alternatively, park on Parkland Crescent, by veering left after exiting the tunnel and parking is opposite Queensland Railway Platform 10.

Wickham Terrace – Gregory Terrace – College Road intersection – driving out of the City along Wickham Terrace, take a left hand turn before the intersection lights straight into the Parkland and drive down Parkland Boulevard. Driving into the city along College Road, there is no right turn into the Parkland Boulevard and alternative routes should be taken.

If travelling along Gregory Terrace, proceed directly through the intersection into the Parkland along Parkland Boulevard.
